HP (H Pylori) Antibody Rapid Test Kit

• INTENDED USE

The HP (H Pylori) antibody Rapid Test Kit is a sandwich lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of antibodies against Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) in human serum, plasma or whole blood. It is intended to be used as a screening test and as an aid in the diagnosis of infection with H. pylori. Any reactive specimen with the H.pylori Ab Combo Rapid Test must be confirmed with alternative testing method(s) and clinical findings. 

• CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE

Helicobacter pylori is associated with a variety of gastrointestinal diseases including non-ulcer dyspepsia, duodenal and gastric ulcers and active, chronic gastritis. The prevalence of H.pylori infection could exceed 90% in patients with signs and symptoms of gastrointestinal diseases.Recent studies indicate an association of H. pyloriinfection with stomach cancer. 
H. pylori colonizing in the gastrointestinal system elicits specific antibody responses which aid in the diagnosis of H. pylori infections and in monitoring the effectiveness of treatment forH. pylori related diseases. Antibiotics, in combination with bismuth compounds, have been shown to be effective in treating active H. pylori infection. Successful eradication of H. pylori is associated with clinical improvement in patients with gastrointestinal diseases providing further evidence. 
The HP (H Pylori) antibody Rapid Test Kit is the latest generation of chromatographic immunoassays which utilizes recombinant antigens to detect antibodies to H. pylori in human serum, plasma or whole blood. The test is user friendly, highly sensitive and specific.
