TSH (Thyroid-stimulating Hormone) Detection Kit

• INTENDED USE

This Product is used for quantitative determination of TSH in human serum, plasma in vitro.It is intended to be used by professionals to assist clinical early diagnosis related to hyperprolactinemia. Any reactive specimen with the the TSH (Thyroid-stimulating hormone) Detection Kit  (Fluorescence Immunochromatography) must be confirmed with an alternative testing method(s) and clinical findings.

• CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE

TSH（Thyroid stimulating hormone）is a 30 kD protein composed of two subunits. β subunit carries tSH-specific immunological and biological information; Its α chain carries species-specific information and has the same sequence of amino acids as LH, FSH and hCG. TSH is one of the hormones secreted by the anterior pituitary gland, whose main function is to control and regulate thyroid activity. The determination of thyrotropin in serum (plasma) is one of the important indexes for the diagnosis and treatment of hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism and the study of hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid axis. It is an indispensable tool in the diagnosis of hypothyroidism and the differential diagnosis of primary and secondary hypothyroidism (hypothalamic or pituitary).
