INTENDED USE
This Product is used for quantitative determination of Myo in human serum, plasma in vitro.It is intended to be used by professionals to assist clinical early diagnosis related to acute myocardial infarction. Any reactive specimen with the the Myo (Myoglobin) Detection Kit (Fluorescence Immunochromatography) must be confirmed with an alternative testing method(s) and clinical findings.
CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE
Myo (Myoglobin) is an oxygen-bindng heme protein, and mainly distributed in myocardium and skeletal muscle tissue. In acute myocardial injury, myoglobin is first released into the blood. After about 2-3 hours of symptoms, myoglobin in the blood can exceed the upper limit of normal, peaking at 9-12 hours, and retuming to normal after 24-36 hours. Determination of serum myoglobin is as the early and most sensitive indicator of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) diagnosis.
